THE Bounds of Germany, as set out by Pto∣lomy and other ancient Writers, were much different from what they are at present; for, according to their Account, it extended Northwar.

The enormous success of the Thesaurus Geographicus most likely provided the inspiration for Moll to publish a more complete atlas of his own, which finally resolved into the issue of A System of Geography. The additional maps included in A System of Geography were stamped 'New' to distinguish them from those rolled over from the Thesaurus.   The work exists in several versions with changing text fields and has often been colored. It was included in the historical atlas of Joan Janssonius ( and , respectively), which experts believe to be typical manual copies of the original. Another remarkable work is his collection of place names Thesaurus Geographicus.
